Kniha je monografií vybraných Hildebrandtových sakrálních projektů na dnešním rakouském a českém území. Tyto - převážně oválné - stavby autor zasazuje do širšího kontextu evropského baroka. Částečně polemizuje s dosavadním diskurzem a podtrhává Hildebrandtovu klíčovou inspiraci architekturou Carla Fontany.

The book deals with selected church designs Hildebrandt´s on today´s Austrian and Czech territory. These - mostly oval - constructions are put into the wider context of European Baroque architecture. The author partially argues against the present discourse and underlines the key role of the work of Carlo Fontana for Hildebrandts architecture.
