The aim of the work was to find out the development of mineral occurrence of urinary tract stones in patients from the Ostrava region in the years 1978–2011, in relation to sex, age, and location of stones. Furthermore, to show the relationship of these changes with significant socioeconomic changes in the Czech Republic.
