This paper follows up a previous work (Duška and Hrubý 2013) concerning the re-evaluation of the second virial coefficient for steam and its uncertainties. In the present work, a new approach to identify mutual dependency of uncertainty of regression and its derivative is proposed. Also a way to eliminate error of a model when fitting measured data was tested. These methods were used to analyse calorimetric measurements by Osborne et al. 1937 and 1939 and density data measured by Kell et al. 1989 in presence of systematic error.
