Analysis of socio-spatial features of political behaviour in the Czech metropolitan areas revealed that despite some differences (like quite untypical leaning of core cities to the political Right) there are many similarities with the situation in the Western metropolises. Socio-spatial differences are on the rise and so the differences in political behaviour that tend to copy social inequalities. Suburbanisation is the key process changing the political landscape of Czech metropolises.
