Mezi jmény umělců činných v Olomouci ve službách knížete biskupa Karla II. z Liechtensteinu-Castelcorna a dalších objednavatelů se opakovaně setkáváme s italským malířem Giuseppem Bragallim. Je možné jej vnímat jako průkopníka hlavních trendů italské kvadratury (malby iluzivních architektur) na Moravě a v Čechách.
