The chapter first introduces specific field of sports law. It continues covering the crux of sports law in the EU, mainly in the light of the case law of the Court of Justice and then it compares the approach to regulation of sport by the mechanisms within this field, that is by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The specifics of sports dispute resolution are also demonstrated by anti-doping regulation. The article demonstrated difficult relationship between specific sports regulation and general law.
