Endocrine disruptors represent the group of chemical substances disrupting the hormonal indication of vertebrates and thereby they could encroach the organism function. To the group of endocrine disruptors belong surfactants, softeners, fungicides, insecticides and some kinds of medications and hormonal contraception. They are commonly presented in the waste and drinking water. Sewage treatment plants failed to decrease the content of these compounds. They are persistent to degradation by common chemicals as well as biological and photolytic processes. Photo-catalysis using semiconductor particles have found increasing interest to solve the endocrine disruptors remove problems. as a photocatalyst immobilized in layers on glass beads were used for the degradation of endocrine disruptors namely 4-nonylphenol with allowance of the toxicity of final water.
