In the research of preparation of layered piezoelectric materials belonging to the group of Aurivilius phases, applicable for the implementation of high-temperature ultrasonic transducers, have been prepared and studied some of the materials belonging to the three different ternary oxide-systems M-Bi-Ta, where M is Ca,Sr and Ba,respectively. Prepared MBi2Ta2O9 and M2BiTaO6 were characterized by using RTG, DSC, SEM and finally was studied their electro-acoustical behavior.
