In this chapter most of the signatory countries of COST Action 729 present their national (research) activities and main results of the COST Action. Although the contributions have been harmonized with respect to the structure, the content varies among countries. The content represents the views of the difference authors/contributors listed in the beginning of each country section and not necessarily those of the COST Action 729 Management Committee.
