The expression of two MyHC isoforms in heart left ventricle (LV) of adult inbred Lewis strain was studied in dependence on the thyroid status of the animals. In contrast to the literature data, we found that the MyHCalfa possessed a higher mobility than the MyHCβ isoform after SDS-PAGE. The data implicate a great importance of careful identification of the MyHCalfa and MyHCbeta isoforms in the bands on the SDS-PAGE gels
