Workshop was organized by the Institute of Rock Structure and Mechanics AS., Department of Chemistry of Geopolymer, at Prague. Review contained 6 scientific presentations recapitulating ten years of laboratory experiments and sharing with the participants the knowledge concerning preparation of geopolymer matrices and also their use as a compacting bonding agent for different type of additives, especially in case of inhibition of waste, including hazardous waste and metals. The theoretical explication of processes of geopolymer technique was complemented by practical training in laboratory, using different types of clayed materials and different types of additives. During the workshop were presented also 3 large lectures offering the experience of collaborating organization Czech Development Agency, transferring the laboratory experience to the semi-industrial level. The CRA also presented products resulting from the collaboration between the industry and scientific organization.
