Polyunsaturated fatty acids and butyrate enhance the effects of endogenous apoptotic inducers from TNF family (TRAIL and TNF alpha) in colon epithelial cells. The effects are different in cell lines with distinct level of malignant transformation.

Vysoce nenasycené mastné kyseliny a butyrát posilují účinky endogenních apoptických induktorů (TRAIL a TNF alfa) u epiteliálních buněk kolonu. Účinky se liší u buněčných linií různého stupně maligní transformace.
