Kapitola „Půdní hlístice (Nematoda)“ pojednává o volně žijících hlísticích a jejich populacích v lučních ekosystémech. V Bílých Karpatech byly hlístice studovány v NPR Čertoryje a na lokalitě Výzkum. V Čertoryjích bylo zjištěno celkem 116 druhů půdních hlístic s celkovou abundancí okolo jednoho milionu jedinců na metr čtvereční. Nejvíce druhů patřilo do řádů Tylenchida (32) a Dorylaimida (25). Velký počet druhů žijících v Čertoryjích patřil k hlísticím, které jsou v České republice vzácné.

The chapter “Nematodes (Nematoda)” deals with free living nematodes and their populations in meadow ecosystems. In the White Carpathian Mountains nematodes were studied in the Čertoryje Nature Reserve and in the locality Výzkum. In the Čertoryje 116 species of nematodes were found with total abundance about 1 million of individuals per square metre. Most species belonged to the orders Tylenchida (32) and Dorylaimida (25). A great number of species living in the Čertoryje belonged to the nematodes that are rare in the Czech Republic.
