Patients with mtDNA 9205delTA mutation are characterized by different clinical pictures. Using transmitochondrial cybrids, mutation manifestation with respect to the mutation load was analyzed. Our results demonstrate, that functional and structural affection embody threshold effect, probably from the gene-protein level
Pacienti s mtDNA mutací 9205delTA v genu pro ATP synthasu se vyznačují velmi odlišnými klinickými obrazy. S využitím transmitochondriálních cybridů byly studovány projevy mutace v závisloti na jejím množství. Bylo zjištěno, že funkční i strukturní postižení vykazuje prahový efekt, nejspíše již na úrovni gen-protein
