In the first section of this chapter we discuss the key systemic changes and policies that, along with privatization, were carried out , in full or in part, during the transition in CEE and the CIS. In the second section we examine tha macro- and microeconomic evidence about the determinants, extent and effect of privatization. We conclude our study with a number of policy-oriented observations.

V první části této kapitoly diskutujeme klíčové systematické změny a rozhodování, které spolu s privatizací byly uskutečněny, buď naplno, nebo částečně, během transformace ve střední a východni Evropě a Společenství nezávislých států. V druhé části zkoumáme makro- a mikroekonomické důkazy o rozhodujících prvcích a efektech privatizace. Naší studii uzavíráme několika pozorováními.
