Výstava nainstalovaná v prostorách prezídia AV ČR dokumentovala výzkumnou činnost SLÚ v období od získání právní subjektivity do současnosti. Na 19 panelech a v pěti vitrínách byly prezentována struktura ústavu, jeho dělení v 60. letech 20. století a dnešní výsledná struktura, činnost knihovny a tři vědecké oblasti – synchronní lingvistika, diachronní lingivistika a literární věda. Prezentovány byly nejvýznamnější týmové úkoly posledních deseti let, publikační činnost ústavu zahrnující tři mezinárodní periodika a publikační řadu Práce Slovanského ústavu, Nová řada s dosavadními 25 svazky. Slavnostní vernisáž s úvodním slovem ředitelky SLÚ se konala 14. 10. 2008.

The exhibition installed on the premises of the ASCR Presidium documented the research activities of the Institute of Slavonic Studies from the period of obtainment of its legal personality until the present time. Altogether 19 boards and five display cases offered a presentation of the Institute’s structure, including that in the 60s of the 20th century and its final present structure, the library’s activity, and the three scientific areas: synchronic linguistics, diachronic linguistics, and literary science. A presentation was given of the most significant team-based projects of the last ten years, as well as of the Institute’s publication activity comprising three international periodicals and the series called "Práce Slovanského ústavu AV ČR, Nová řada" [Works of the ASCR Institute of Slavonic Studies, New Series] with the hitherto published 25 volumes. A festive vernissage with the opening words delivered by the Institute’s Director was held on 14 October 2008.
