Volume from the international meeting at Mikulčice in the days 21st - 23 st May 2007. The main topic is problematic co called non-residential areas (baileys, areas beneath the walls) of the Early mediaeval power centers. It contains contributions to the knowledge of character, function, economic and social structure of these areas.

Sborník z mezinárodní konference konané v Mikulčicích, 21.-23.5.2007. Hlavním tématem je problematika "vedlejších" areálů (předhradí, suburbií) raně středověkých mocenských center. Obsahuje příspěvky k poznání charakteru, funkcí, hospodářské a sociální struktury těchto areálů. Řeší otázky terminologické.
