The measurements of intermodal dispersion in experimental two-core optical fibre samples have been carried out both in time and spectral domains. Firstly the measured fibre was spliced into the fibre ring laser resonator and passive mode-locking of the laser affected by pulse spliting in the two-core fibre was investigated using an autocorrelator. Further the transmission function of the fibre was recorded with an optical spectral analyser and processed.
