At the WG2 meeting was presented somatic embryogenesis process investigated on ginseng cultures. Somatic embryos formed directly on embryogenic culture and their growth and development were investigated adding different growth hormones in the medium. Somatic embryos with different morphological abnormalities were observed. These embryos are able to regenerate in plantlets.
