None of the existing theoretical treatments proved suitable. A semiempirical equation (Langevin-theory-based term with an empirically modified C2 term of the Mooney-Rivlin equation) used previously for filler-reinforced network was found to give a very good data representation for all the two-phase networks tested (polyurethanes, styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymers, very-low-density polyethylene etc).
