The paper describes synthesis, in vitro drug release, and in vivo biological activity of antibody-targeted drugs based on HPMA copolymers. In the conjugates, cytotoxic drug doxorubicin is attached to the polymer via hydrolytically or enzymatically degradable spacers. The conjugates are being developed as potential anticancer drugs facilitating site-specific therapy.
