Digital seismic signal recorder PCM3-EPC equipped with embedded PC and data telemetry via GSM modem was designed by the Institute of Geonics for application at three-component surface seismic stations established in the Ostrava-Karviná coalfield to study and influence of mining indused seismic events on surface structures.
