An experiment on Soft X-ray Contact Microscopy(SXCM) performed on Caenorhabditis elegans nematodes is discussed.The experiment has been performed using the iodine PALS laser source to generate pulsed soft X-rays from laser-plasma interaction, using molybdenum and gold as targets.
