This paper present a study of composite coatings consisting and ceramics.The work is focused on various combinations of stainless steel and alumina.Coatings obtained by spraying a mechanical mixture of both components by a Water-Stabilized Plasma gun (WSP) are compared with coatings sprayed by a common Gas-Stabilized Plasma gun (GSP) using feedstock prepared by mechanofusion technique.
