    Effect of shape and length of an exit nozzle of water plasma torch on properties of generated thermal plasma jet was investigated.Pictures obtained by CCD short shutter camera were analyzed and shape and dimensions of the jet were determined for various nozlle geometry.The velocity ofplasma in the jet was determined by the analysis of fluctuations of emitted light in various positions along the jet by the time of flight method.
