Studie nově určuje tzv. Mistra Josefovy historie jako iluminátora první části kodexu, která byla napsána v rakouském klášteře Melku, v pramenech identifikuje jejího písaře. Zabývá se typem rukopisu, sestavou textů a ikonografií vyobrazení. K portrétu Ladislava Pohrobka v druhé části rukopisu, napsané v Čechách, nalézá blízkou paralelu ve vatikánském rukopisu Ladislavova latinsko-německo-českého slovníku s miniaturou od stejného malíře, Mistra Šellenberské bible.

The study newly identifies the so-called Master of Joseph's History as the illuminator of the first part of the codex, which was written in the Austrian monastery of Melk, and identifies the writer in the resources. It deals with the type of manuscript, the composition of texts and the iconography of paintings. It finds a close parallel to the portrait of Ladislav Pohrobek in the second part of the manuscript, written in Bohemia, in the Vatican manuscript of Ladislav's Latin-German-Czech dictionary with a miniature by the same painter, the Master of the Schellenberg Bible.
