Cílem česko-německého pracovního semináře byla výměna zkušeností s použitím biografické metody při zkoumání regionální identity obyvatel pohraničí. Současně byly presentovány dosažené výsledky řešení obou projektů. Tým university v Chemnitz provádí biografické rozhovory na základě dobových fotografií. Zkoumá generační posun regionálního vědomí a hodnocení klíčových historických událostí. K hlavním poznatkům patří popis historicky vzniklé asymetrie mezi českými a německými obyvateli regionu Vejprty-Berenstein. Český tým uvedl zkušenosti s metodiky vedení biografického vyprávění na základě iniciační otázky.

The aim of the czech-german seminar was an exchange of experienees with the biographical method used for researching regionl identity of the borderland inhabitans. The today outcomes of the both projects were presented. Chemnitz university team leads the biographical interviewswith the help of period photografhs. They are interested in the change of regional concience between the generations. One of the main outcoms is the description of the historically emerged assymetry between the czech and german inhabitans of the region Vejprty- Bärenstein. The czech team spoke about the experiences with using the methodologx of biographical narratves provoked by iniciation question.
