The results of low-temperature fluorescence and hole-burning experiments on CP47 antenna protein from mutant and wild type of Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 are presented. The main bands of low-temperature fluorescence spectra have maxima at 692 nm (wild type) and 388 nm (mutant), respectively. The lifetime, Huang-Rhys factor and mean frequency of protein phonons were determined. The value of lifetime determined from the hole widths was found to be between 3 and 4 ps for wild-type organism at all measured wavelengths.
