The book covers the whole spectrum of Tropical Freshwater zooplankton and includes even the non conventional groups. A chapter on the interactions of zooplankton and fisheries is added to make the book more useful to tropical fish culturists and fishery biologists. The book should enable users to obtain reliable diagnosis to species level in many cases and also glean basic ideas about methodology, ecology, zoogeography and classification. The chapter on methodology and general ecology is an introduction to problems of sampling, sample elaboration and evaluation and a brief account of the main topics solved during zooplankton ecology studies.
