This paper covers issues related to the application of inf=ormation systems in the public administration sector and t=he delineation of the key goals of the implementation of i=nformation systems at a municipal level. These include, ab=ove all, the task of raising the authority of the public a=dministration sector, promoting citizens' confidence in pu=blic administration, and also enhancing transparency in th=e process of developing the country's economic environment=. The main question is related to the participative of IT =in the Czech Republic.
