This book represents the first major, detailed survey in English of the vast region of NE Asia, i.e. the region including easternmost Siberia (Russian Far East, including Kamchatka, Sakhalin and the Kuril Isls.), Manchuria (northeastern China and adjacent Amur Valley in Russia), the Korean Peninsula (especially the north), and northern Japan (Hokkaido and the southernmost Kuril Islands).
