Nanocrystalline diamond films were deposited on silicon substrates by a microwave plasma-enhanced CVD method in the ellipsoidal cavity reactor in a form of either nanostructured layers(rms = 8.2 nm) or layers with a hierarchically organized micro- and nanostructure (rms of 301.0 nm and 7.6 nm, respectively). Both types of films gave good support for for adhesion, growth and differentiation of osteogenic cells, and thus could be used for surface modification of bone implants in order to improve their integration with the surrounding bone tissue
Nanokrystalické diamantové filmy byly naneseny na silikonové substráty mikrovlnnou PECVD metodou v elipsiodálním reaktoru ve formě vrstev jednak nanostrukturovaných (rms = 8.2 nm), jednak vrstev s hierarchicky organizovanou mikro- a nanostrukturou (rms 301.0 nm a 7.6 nm). Oba typy filmů podporovaly adhesi, růst a diferenciaci osteogenních buněk, a tudíž by mohly být využity pro povrchové modifikace kostních implantátů pro zlepšení jejich integrace do okolní kostní tkáně
