A set of about 30 Fischer-type aminocarbene complexes of Cr, W and Fe was synthesized. Values of oxidation potential Eox, reduction potential Ered and their difference .DELTA.E = Eox - Ered were correlated with 1) nature of the central metal, 2) carbene carbon substitution (using the Linear Free Energy Relationship (LFER) approach), 3) coordination sphere geometry, 4) bonding abilities of ligands.

Detailní elektrochemické studium serie cca 30 aminokarbenových komplexů Cr, W a Fe Fischerova typu umožnilo shrnout sterické i indukční vlivy různých substituentů na oxidační a redukční vlastnosti komplexů různých kovů. Experimentální výsledky jsou porovnány s kvantově chemickými výpočty.
