The paper shows an approach to the determination of pH in solutions with a fine spatial resolution by means of tapered optical fibers and fluorescence detection. This approach can be adopted for the determination of auxin flow through celluar membranes. Absorption and fluorescence of selected pH transducers were tested. Determination of a shift of the maxima of fluorescence peaks was employed for processing the measured data. Tapered fibers were prepared and demonstrated in vitro in a pH range from 6 to 7.

Práce se zabývá způsobem stanovení změn pH roztoků s jemným prostorovým rozlišením prostřednictvím zúžených optických vláken a fluorescence. Tento přístup může být využit pro stanovení toku auxinů skrz buněčnou membránu. Byly otestovány absorpční a fluorescenční vlastnosti vybraných pH barviv. Pro zpracování naměřených hodnot fluorescence bylo využito posunu maxima fluorescence ve spektru. In vitro byla předvedena použitelnost připravených zúžených optických vláken pro měření pH v rozsahu od 6 do 7.
