Arguments, polemics and debates in the Czech scientific communities in the 19th century and at the turn of the 19th century ; influenced in versaille way the style scientific research in the Czech Lands. For instance, they concerned assertion of provincial scientists into scientific research and controversies between generations represented by the Prague University and Musem schools on principles of scientific cognition.

V průběhu 19. stol. a na počátku 20. století se ve vědeckých komunitách v českých zemích odehrávaly spory, debaty a polemiky, které všestranně ovlivnily styl vědecké práce na několika úrovních. Šlo kupř. o zapojení provinciálních badatelů do vědecké práce, o generační spory reprezentované pražskou muzejní a univerzitní školou nebo o principy vědeckého poznání.
