A new species of parasitic nematode, Neoascarophis macrouri n. sp. (Cystidicolidae), is described from the stomach of the marine deep-water fish Macrourus berglax in the eastern Greenland Sea. The new species is characterized mainly by the location of the vulva near the posterior end of the body, non-filamented eggs, the structure of the mouth, a short vestibule and the length of spicules. Metabronema insulanum Solov’eva, 1991 is transferred to Neoascarophis.

Ze žaludku mořské hlubinné ryby Macrourus berglax ve východním Gronském moři je popsán nový druh cizopasné hlístice Neoascarophis macrouri n. sp. (Cystidicolidae). Nový druh je charakterizován hlavně umístěním vulvy u zadního konce těla, vajíčky bez filamentů, stavbou úst, krátkým vestibulem a délkou spikul. Metabronema insulanum Solov’eva, 1991 je převedena do rodu Neoascarophis.
