The efficiency of various species trait as predictors of species response to grazing was studied along climatic gradient in Northern Spain. First, the species response was characterized by constrained ordinations. The species response was then predicted by regression trees, using the species traits as independent predictors.

Predikční síla jednotlivých bionomických vlastností druhů byla testována v serii pokusných ploch na klimatickém gradientu v severním Španělsku. Nejdříve byla odpověď každého druhu charakterizována pomocí přímých ordinací. Tato odpověď byla potom predikována na základě bionomických vlastností druhů při užití regresních stromů.
