Estrogen receptor protein forms a specific complex with DNA bearing estrogen response element. The study of the effect of ionizing radiation on the stability of the complex is presented. Method of retardation polyacrylamide electrophoresis was used to determine overall stability of the complex as a function of absorbed dose and the sensitivity of both partners (DNA and protein).
