The present preliminary study which is focused in particular on Bled el Mas area (Reggane basin) shows new palaeomagnetic data obtained from the Imirhou Formation of Silurian age and from Asedjrad Formation of Silurian-Devonian age. According to paleolatitudes of the different mentioned terranes (Armorica, Bohemia) we were able to propose a possible scenario of drifting of the Saharn platform and hence of the West African craton by the Hercynian times. These blocks began to separate from Africa while others which detached from Laurussia docked to Africa.
