Vojenské a politické motivy se často objevují na barokním skle. Představují standardní reflexi politických událostí ve společnosti. Jejich interpretace zároveň pomáhá určit dataci a místo vzniku barokních skleněných předmětů. Článek uvádí vybrané příklady z Národního muzea a dalších sbírek.

Military and political motifs frequently appear at the decorated baroque glass. Such motifs often represent standard reflection of the more or less important political affairs by the early modern society. At the same moment, the interpretation of concrete military and political motifs is sometimes the only way hove to identify dating and location of the production of the baroque glass objects. The article deals with examples found in the National Museum, Prague, and in other collecitons.
