Genetic transformation for transferring target genes offers an attractive alternative to sexual crossings. Flavonoids in hop, like alpha acids or xanthohumol, constitute an interesting class of compounds important for brewing as well as for human health, respectively.
Genetická transformace přenosem žádaných genů je atraktivní variantou klasického křížení. Chmelové flavonoidy jako alpfa kyseliny nebo xantohumol představují zajímavou skupinu látek důležitých jak pro pivovarnictví tak pro lidské zdraví.
