Leukocyte Adherence Inhibition (LAI) assay is used to study effects of exposure of leukocytes to the magnetic field. Before medical treatment of the patient adherence of T lymphocytes is very small but after medical treatment their adherence is comparable with that of T lymphocytes from healthy humans. Long term following up revealed high adherence as long as the cancer process is supressed.

Test inhibice adherence leukocytů se používá ke studiu účinků expozice leukocytů magnetickému poli. Před léčbou je adherence T lymfocytů velmi malá avšak po léčbě je srovnatelná s adherencí T lymfocytů zdravých lidí. Dlouhodobé sledování ukazuje vysoké hodnoty adherence pokud je nádorový proces potlačen.
