Die Autorinnen analysieren die Funktionen der Großveranstaltung, ihre Deutungen in der Minderheitenpresse und unter den Teilnehmern und ihre Bedeutung für einzelne Akteursgruppen (Organisatoren und Teilnehmer) und fragen, ob diese Veranstaltung als ein Medium oder Ort kultureller Erinnerung gesehen werden kann. Překlad anotace The article deals with the Großveranstaltung, a cultural gathering that is organised in the Czech Republic every year by the German minority and for its members. The authors analyse the functions of the Großveranstaltung, its interpretations in the minority press and among its participants and meaning that is has for different groups (organisers and participants).
