Decontaminations actions were carried out at the premises of a number of sites contaminated by petroleum products, PAHs, PCBs, volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons, and so called endocrine disruptors. Submitted project is focused on the decontamination of the less-extensive territories that were created around the industrial plants, and especially in so-called brownfields. The advantages and shortcomings of these technological decontamination procedures are emphasized.
