Solche wortwörtlichen Übersetzungen von Metaphern erweitern bildliche Ausdrücke in der Nehmersprache. Dieser Aufsatz bietet eine Fallstudie - einen Vergleich der verbalen Präfixe nad- und přě- im Alttschechischen mit ihrer Parallele super- im Latein. Es wird die Entwicklung der tschechischen Äquivalente in biblischen Übersetzungen gezeigt, inklusive ihrer Valenz oder Explizitheit der Raumkonzepte. Innovationen in den Lösungen der Übersetzer reichen von wortwörtlicher Übertragung bis zur Übersetzung ganzer Phrasen. Překlad anotace Previous comparisons of Old Czech translations with the Latin originals indicate calquing of verbal prefixes in their metaphorical meanings. Such a literal translation of metaphors broadens figurative expressions in the receiving language. This paper presents a case study - a comparison of the verbal prefixes nad- and přě- in Old Czech with its paralle super - in Latin. It shows the development of Czech equivalents in Biblical translations, including its valency or explicitness in space conceptualization, and analyzes innovations in the translators' solutions which range between literal and phrasal translation.
