AnnotationThe article summarizes in a synoptical manner the hitherto obtained knowledge on possibilities of pharmacological modulation of hematopoietic processes in experiments on animals by administration of substances modulating non-selectively adenosine membrane receptors (combination of dipyridamole and adenosine monophosphate), and by administration of synthetic agonists of adenosine receptors, more or less selective for individual receptor subtypes.
