AnnotationThe two supported epoxy-amine-based ion-gel membranes studied in another of our works displayed a facilitated transport for CO2 vs. CH4 under dry or humid mixed-gas feed conditions relevant to biogas separations. Retention and enhancement of CO2/CH4 separation properties under mixed-gas conditions are unusual when compared to most traditional polymeric membranes, clearly demonstrating the potential of ion gel membranes with facilitated
    CO2 transport groups.
