Furthemore, it has been proven that the poor prognosis of HNSCC patients is associated with cancer cachexia, T status, increased C-reactive protein and decreased haemoglobin levels. We have demonstrated a statistically significant difference in haemoglobin level and erythorcyte count between the group of patients without evidence of disease, and the group with cancer relapse Workplace Institute of Microbiology Contact Eliška Spurná, eliska.spurna@biomed.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 231 Year of Publishing 2011
