The reaction of 4 with TiCl4 gave Ti(IV) complex [{5-C5H4Si(CH3)2CH2CH2C8F17}TiCl3] (5), whereas the reaction of [(C5H4SiMe3)TiCl3] with lithium salts of 1 and 2 yielded complexes [{5-C5H4Si(CH3)2CH2CH2C8F17}{5-C5H4Si(CH3)3}TiCl2] (6) and [{5-C5H3(Si(CH3)2CH2CH2C8F17)2}{5-C5H4Si(CH3)3}TiCl2] (7), respectively. The results show the applicability of fluorous chemistry methodology in early transition metal organometallic chemistry Workplace Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals Contact Eva Jirsová, jirsova@icpf.cas.cz, Tel.: 220 390 227 Year of Publishing 2005
