    AnnotationHybrid membranes based on chitosan, hydrophilic polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) and ethylene glycol diglycidylether were prepared by blending the components, drying at 70°C and precipitating the membrane precursor. The used POSS differed in the tether type. Diffusion permeability of the hybrid membranes to both hydrophobic and hydrophilic amino acid were investigated to elucidate the contribution of POSS to interactions with solutes.
